"live like a local"

"Please come and stay with me and my family. It is our absolute pleasure to welcome you into our home. Our aim is to make you as comfortable as possible while you experience what it is like to live in a real Ugandan village.
I can also arrange visits to local attractions and take you on a safari. "

Barnett Twesigomwe is an original member of the world renowned  African Children's Choir . At eight years of age he toured the world as a singer with the choir.
After being sponsored through the ACC sponsorship program he graduated university with a Diploma in Travel and Tourism.
He is married to Diana, has two beautiful children (Myra and Gavriel) and has worked with the ACC as a Child Support Co-ordinator since 2006. He also leads  teams from Australia who visit Uganda to volunteer with the ACC in the slums of Kampala and remote villages of Uganda. Every second year he travels on tour to Australia with ACC and KwaYa Australia to act as the tour's workshop facilitator.
His work with the ACC comes from a heart space as he is passionate about giving back to the organisation that gave so much to him.
He had a lifelong dream of running a B & B from his family home as well as providing opportunities for visitors to experience the grass roots culture that is Uganda. With the birth of Barnie's Cottage that dream has become a reality.
His safaris are also popular being that they are cheaper than competitors and offer many ACC graduates the opportunity to earn extra income.
